At Nature Connect Initiative, our mission is to bridge the gap between environmental restoration and social justice. We are working to restore the Sacramento River’s natural beauty and biodiversity while creating sustainable housing solutions for families in need. Here’s a look at our upcoming project.
Our Mission At Nature Connect Initiative

Upper Sacramento River Restoration and Wetland Conservation Project:
The Upper Sacramento River Restoration and Wetland Conservation Project is designed to restore vital ecosystems while addressing the ongoing need for affordable housing. Our goal is to protect the natural resources of the Sacramento River while providing safe, eco-friendly homes for at-risk families.
- Restoration: Revitalize wetlands and riverbanks to create thriving habitats for endangered species such as Steelhead Trout, Chinook Salmon, and Shasta Crayfish.
- Pollution Cleanup: Support efforts to remove pollutants, including those from industrial spills, to ensure clean water and healthy ecosystems.
- Land Conservation: Secure 4 acres of protected wetland habitat to safeguard it from future industrial development and preserve it for wildlife.
Together, we can protectthe environment andprovide homes for thosewho need them most.
Join us in our mission to safeguard the environment while ensuring that families in need have a place to call home. By working together, we can create a sustainable future that balances ecological health with social equity. Your support makes a difference in transforming lives and protecting our planet for generations to come.
